The Desert Star #5
We loved how everything at Desert Star is super easy and well thought out from the moment of getting the text of ‘self check-in entry’ with door keycodes. Having time constraints to unload the vehicle and get to our event this was greatly appreciated. Though our stay was brief I’m glad we got to meet Richard. Warm, genuine, smiley and very welcoming is how I’d describe meeting him. As a lover of architecture It brings be such delight when I meet owners of establishments that really care for their properties/spaces. You definitely feel it here, it’s happy! Our studio #5 is a well thought out adorable clean fresh studio with a well stocked kitchen to cook in. Location is fabulous. Also as a very private couple I’d also like to say this was perfect for our taste, having a spacious back patio lounge with bbq was bonus! We’ll certainly stay here again when the occasion arises. Thank you for creating a wonderful place to stay.
The Desert Star #5
If you want a quiet, private, place to stay without the hassle of a big hotel and other guests, the Desert Star is awesome. It's centrally located only a few minutes to downtown by car. Also the place was an adorable mid-century masterpiece with many cool touches. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and having a little kitchen really helps if you don't want to wait forever to have breakfast on a busy weekend. Over all, a terrific choice. We had a great time.

Very private, quiet and mellow oasis on a quiet street. Exactly what we were looking for. The pool setup is fantastic, and the views from it are great. The owners are onsite (a good thing, in my opinion) and are very friendly and accommodating while also giving you your space to do your thing. We already want to go back.
